Behind the Screens’ Tours at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is introducing ‘Behind the Screens’ tours, as part of the world famous charity, following the resounding success of ITVs Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs continues to draw in high numbers of visitors to the Home.

Visitors can experience the inner workings of Battersea’s London centre and will enjoy a guided tour of the home including the history of Battersea, the vital work it does, as well as behind the scenes experience with the opportunity to see key areas where ITV filmed the hit series.

Head of Dog Re-homing Rob Young says: “We know there are many members of the public who want to visit us. We have a busy centre, so we hope that the tours give visitors a real understanding of what goes into rehabilitating and re-homing the animals that come into our care.”

The tours will run on Saturdays and Sundays starting on 25th May through to 7th July, 2013. Battersea will hold two tours per hour from 11:00am to 3:30pm and tours will operate on a first come first served basis. The cleaners in Kensington will be available during the tours, too.
